I have always been wondering as I am a neopets player myself....

Is Neopets a game or a website for making money?

This are some picture examples...

1) You get points for doing surveys???

2) You get points for installing a Yahoo toolbar???

3) What the???

4) Selling Games???

What do you think of that??

Of course it's for making money. It's just a coincidence it's a nice sim-type game as well. Mostly they make money selling merchandise with neopets logo and pictures of your neopet, but obviously they are expanding the business into other types of income-generating activities. Probably they are also selling data on the side to some psychology or sociology institute that performs a large-scale behaviour studies.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch, you know.
